Salary packaging a car via a novated lease can be an effective way to reward and retain valuable employees. It could also be a tax-effective way for your employees to drive and run a car of their choice, whether it’s new, used, or their existing vehicle.


How it works for your employees

The car is leased in your employee’s name, and we pay the lease repayments and car running costs on their behalf, using pre-tax dollars from their salary, which could essentially save them tax.

Unlike stand-alone leasing companies, our novated leasing program, administered by our employee benefits division Maxxia, offers a simple payment method. Rather than invoicing you, we manage your employees’ lease repayments by conveniently deducting these funds directly from their salary – weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Salary packaging payments take away the need for invoices altogether, substantially reducing your administration time and the potential for error.

Importantly, under our novated leasing program we manage your employees’ accounts to minimise your FBT exposure and liaise directly with individual employees in the case of error or shortfall – this is our responsibility, not yours.
